We are the living proof of a story that goes back in time— a story that began just after the First World War, when Cesare Buzzi, a man with a strong heart and a forward-looking vision, turned his passion for livestock trading into a lifelong journey of dedication and skill in butchering and processing fresh meat, right here in our beloved Giussano, in Piazza Roma.
This legacy, carried on with pride and commitment, has guided us through decades of growth and change. In 1995, with the acquisition of the Sirone facility, we broadened our horizons, stepping into new European and international markets and welcoming every challenge with the strength of our tradition and a drive to innovate. Since then, we have formed new partnerships and made acquisitions, expanding from the beef supply chain to catering services and the wide world of global food trading — all while staying true to the values that have always set us apart.

Our company identity

At our operational sites in Oggiono and Mapello, the process starts from animal slaughtering and continues through to the packaging of individual anatomical cuts, ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety.
Specifically, Buzzi S.p.A. trades adult beef, veal, and pork—both bone-in and boneless—vacuum-packed, from our own slaughterhouse as well as from the best qualified and certified Italian and European suppliers.
Our processing meets the needs of a wide range of customers, from food processing industries to small and large retailers. Additionally, special cuts can be produced upon request. Our company operates a large fleet of refrigerated vehicles, enabling fast and reliable deliveries. These vehicles are equipped with continuous temperature monitoring systems to fully guarantee the cold chain is maintained throughout transport.
